Changing your lifestyle
is easier said than done. Well at least that is how I have found it. I needed a lot of encouragement
and need to be motivated to go out there and exercise. I had to reach through all sorts of medium to
keep myself motivated. One of them was my shortness of breath, I really hated the loud sound of my breathing
because it really sounded like I am struggling to breath and I was. I hate that when I am in a room full of people
and all of a sudden everything goes quiet, all you could hear is myself breathing heavily. I was very embarrassed
by that especially when it happened to me around this girl I fancied, boy! I wish I had powers to disappear.
So I would remember how awful I feel that particular time and it really got my butt off the couch. We are all
motivated by different things, you just need to find that things that motivates you.

As I have previously mentioned, I started my active style by walking. I walked everyday even when it was cold and raining.
I didn't want to stop because I knew that if I did I would find all sorts of excuses not to walk everyday. So it was tough love but
something I can look back to and be proud of. Take your ipod with you, listen to music while you walk, it won't feel like a chore
if you actually enjoy what you are doing. For me I took my dog Copper everytime I go for a walk, that way I shot two birds with one
stone. My dog needed to be walked and I needed to walk so it made sense. It's not that easy to begin with, my foot started hurting
my kneed too but I sucked it up and went for another walk the next day and the day after until the pain is not there anymore.
Once my body has gotten use to my active lifestyle I started jogging. I did some reading on the internet on how I to properly
stretch before and after exercising. I would highly recommend that you do the same. I think you can even find some videos on youtube
that teaches you what to do.
So slowly but surely I built up my strength. Once I am ready to build more muscles I joined the gym closest to my house so I can
walk to it. There I have enjoyed the supervision of a personal trainer who taught me the right equipments and exercise routines I
required to tone up my muscles. He was a great help because I had no idea on how to use any of those exercise machines and I could
have gotten very hurt if a professional gym trained did not show me how.
You have to invest a bit of money but it will all pay off at the end. Once you see the result you want, you'll be very
thankful that you invested a bit of money into getting a gym membership. The trainer can really help you speed up and target those areas
you want to work on and with their help you know that you're not doing the wrong things and you don't have to worry about
injuring yourself. So start moving, it's a start!
